Return

We comply with the Distance Contracts Act and thus you have the right to return ordered goods without giving any reason. You regret your purchase by notifying us within 30 days of receiving your product that you wish to make a return. The item should be returned well packaged, complete, flawless, and in original carton. For more information about the Distance Contracts Act, see the Swedish Parliament’s website. Products with a best if used by date have a 14-day right of return under the Distance Contracts Act and apply only to products in unbroken original packaging. Open purchase and withdrawal rights do not apply to hygiene products such as respiratory/ half masks, consumables/food, and water purification products in broken packaging.

Always contact our customer service at info@generalprepper.com if you wish to complain or return an item. If you wish to return a product for credit or replacement to another product, please include the following:

· A brief description of the reason for the return and the account number to which the money is to be refunded or the product number for the change of product.
· Contact information: name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and order number or customer number.

The cost of the return is the customer’s responsibility. We can provide return notes (per package) at a lower cost than normal postage at the freight forwarders, please contact us to receive a return note. Please note that returns of pallets/half pallets or where the freight company needs to come and pick up the goods will be more expensive. We do not accept return for cash on delivery or invoices on returned goods. The return must be sent as a company package. Returns sent to the delivery point are not collected. For returns, a cost from SEK 89 is charged for handling and administration. Crediting takes place within 30 days of receiving the goods.

If you as a customer have handled a returnable item to a greater extent than is necessary to determine its properties or function, and this has resulted in the item being returned being worth less, we have the right to deduct a sum corresponding to the amount of the item’s depreciation on the amount to be refunded. The depreciation is assessed on a case-by-case basis. When you return an item to us, you as a customer are responsible for the goods. It is very important that you pack the product carefully so that the product or original packaging is not damaged. Never use the original packaging as an outer packaging. In the event of damaged original packaging (caused by unreasonable handling), we will request a value reduction payment from you as a customer.

Complaints
According to Swedish law, you can complain about a product for up to 3 years after purchase. The right of complaint applies to defects that can be attributed to the production of the product and thus does not apply to normal wear and tear or aging of the product. A complaint must be made as soon as possible after the defect has been discovered.

Always contact us in case of complaint. Perhaps we can remedy the error remotely. Where a closer inspection is necessary, you send the item back to us for assessment. You will receive a return slip via email after contacting us. Please note that you bear the risk of a return to us, so send the original packaging well packed in good outer packaging. We do not accept returns against cash on delivery or invoices on returned goods. Returns sent to the delivery point are not collected.

When the product has been received by us, an assessment of functionality is made. If no defect can be found, the product will be returned to you at your expense including shipping to us.

Special conditions regarding complaints about consumables
Consumables such as batteries and rechargeable batteries are not covered by the right of complaint. Rechargeable batteries need to be fully charged as soon as possible after delivery and then continuously maintenance charged. Batteries that do not receive this care risk sulphating and are therefore not covered by the warranty.

Why charging is important
When the battery is discharged, the lead and lead oxide previously present on the lead plates turn into lead sulphate. The lead sulfate also forms water that dilutes the sulfuric acid. The formation of lead sulphate is a completely natural part of the process in a battery. When the battery is recharged, the lead sulfate is recreated into lead, lead oxide and sulfuric acid. If the battery is left discharged for too long, the crystals of lead sulphate grow so much that sulphation may occur. Sulphation completely destroys the battery because it is not possible to recreate such large crystals into lead, lead oxide and sulphuric acid. It is during a sulfation that the battery

For uncollected packages / uncollected packages that have been returned to us, a fee will be added for shipping, return and handling costs.

We can also assist with return slips at a lower cost than normal postage at Post Nord, please contact us to get a return slip. Refund If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund what you have paid for the article as soon as possible or at the latest within 30 days from the day we received the item. You will have to pay the return costs yourself when you return the item.
